June 13, 2017 – Rolla, MO – Brewer Science, a Missouri-based technology manufacturing company, is pleased to continue its tradition of supporting the arts by sponsoring a unique live concert featuring a performance by the internationally acclaimed Jacques Thibaud String Trio. Regarded as three of the world’s finest chamber musicians, the trio will travel from Berlin, Germany to perform their only concert in Missouri on Saturday, September 2 at the Ozark Actors Theatre in Rolla, MO.
The Jacques Thibaud String Trio is comprised of Hannah Strijbos, viola; Burkhard Maiss, violin; and Bogdan Jianu, cello. The original international trio was founded at the Berlin School of Art in 1994.
The Trio’s recent album, Beethoven: Complete String Trios, released in June 2015, was nominated for the International Classical Music Award 2016. Currently, the Trio is producing a new album set for a mid-2017 release date. The Jacques Thibaud String Trio has an active schedule that includes performances throughout the U.S. and internationally at universities, museums, festivals, and concert halls.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 7:00 pm, and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, at the Ozark Actors Theatre, located at 701 N. Cedar Street, Rolla, MO.
